- Forest fire control and assessment to the forest fire impact based on fire behavior and tropical forest ecosystem.
- Study on forest enthomology based on ecosystem.
- Development on analysis system and identification of the forest disease, forest control based on ecosystem, as well as development on the study of the wood fungi.
- Development on forest disturbance control system (especially pest, disease, fire, grazing, and illegal logging).
